📝 Description

Kera Cool Coat is a high-quality, 100% water-based acrylic elastomeric coating that contains Ceramic spheres to provide a waterproof and insulation coating. It is designed to reflect solar radiation and can reduce metal roof temperatures by up to 20°C. It can be applied to many surfaces, including old or new metal and concrete roofs.

Applying the Product

1. Surface Preparation

• Old Painted Surfaces: Clean with a high-pressure water spray. Peeling or rusting areas must be mechanically cleaned and treated with a specialized anti-rust paint. Patch damaged areas before applying Primer Cool Coat.
• Metal: Clean the surface and apply a suitable primer.
• Concrete: Surface moisture must be less than 15%. New concrete or mortar must cure for 10 days. All surfaces must be solid, clean, and free of dirt, oil, and other impurities.
• Wood: Clean and prepare the surface. Handle knots with a stain-preventing primer first.

2. Application

• Apply 2 coats at the recommended coverage rate to create a homogeneous, pinhole-free surface.
• Allow about 4 hours of drying time before applying the next coat.
• Limitations: Do not apply if humidity is > 15%, or during rain, strong wind, or if the weather is > 40°C.
• Note: White color should be used to maximize heat-resistant ability. Always check the weather forecast before application.

📦 Storage & Packaging

• Packaging: Supplied in 16 kg/pail.
• Storage: Has a 6-month shelf life. Must be stored correctly in original packaging, out of sunshine, and at temperatures between 20°C - 40°C.

🧼 Cleaning & Maintenance

• Equipment Cleaning: Clean tools immediately after use with a solvent. Hard, dry material must be removed mechanically.
• Surface Maintenance: Allow the coating to cure for at least one week before mechanical cleaning. It can be maintained by damp mopping with a neutral cleaner. For heavier soiling, an alkaline cleaner may be used, followed by a complete rinse.

• Construction areas must be free of flammable substances. No smoking.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes; use necessary protective equipment.
• If solution contacts skin, clean immediately with water.
• If solution contacts eyes, call for a doctor.
