KERACRETE ADF100
Acrylic Cementitious Highly Flexible Waterproofing Membrane
KERACRETE ADF100 is a two-component product. It consists of a liquid component, which is a blend of highly durable and flexible polymers, and a powder component made of special cements, finely graded fillers, and active chemicals.
📍 Key Uses
This membrane is designed for waterproofing in a wide range of applications:
- Bathrooms and Wet areas
- Water Storage Tanks
- Swimming pools
- Flat Roofs
- Basement Walls
- Planter Boxes
- Tunnels
- Retaining Walls and Foundations
- Balconies, terraces, and roof floors
✨ Advantages
- Water Pressure Resistant: It's resistant to water pressure up to 7 bar, making it suitable for both water-retaining (like tanks) and water-excluding (like basements) structures.
- Excellent Crack Bridging: The membrane can bridge cracks up to 2mm, allowing it to move dynamically with the structure while maintaining its waterproofing performance.
- High Bond Strength: Its polymer composition provides a very high bond.
📊 Technical Properties

| Water impermeability | 150 kP'a for 7 days | BS EN14891:2017 |
📏 Coverage
Coverage is approximate and will depend on the surface's profile and porosity. Here's a general guide:
- For 1mm thickness: 1.5kg/m²
- For 2mm thickness: 3.0kg/m²
Applying the Product
A quick overview of the application process. (Note: Always refer to the full Technical Data Sheet before starting.)
1. Preparation
- Substrates must be clean and free of contamination like oils, grease, and dust.
- Surfaces must be sound. Any weak or friable surfaces may need repair.
- Cracks larger than 1mm should be cut into a V-shape, cleaned, and filled using mixed KERACRETE ADF100. A 50mm reinforcing scrim should be applied over the crack.
2. Priming
- For very porous substrates: Seal the substrate using a mix of 3 parts clean water to 1 part KERACRETE liquid. Allow it to dry for at least 40 minutes.
- For external or normal mineral substrates: Pre-wet the surface with water until it has a damp appearance. Do not allow water to pond. Apply the membrane immediately after.
3. Mixing
- The product is supplied in ready-mixed quantities.
- In a clean container, add all the liquid component.
- Slowly add the powder component while mixing.
- Mechanical mixing with a slow-speed mixer (200-600 rpm) is recommended.
- Mix until you achieve a lump-free, smooth, and homogenous slurry.
- Important: On no account should additional water be added, as this will affect performance.
4. Application
- Pour the mixed liquid membrane onto the prepared substrate.
- Spread it using a comb, serrated trowel, or squeegee.
- A minimum of 2 coats should be applied, perpendicular to each other.
- Allow the membrane to cure for at least 24 hours before applying another coat or allowing light foot traffic. Full cure is achieved after 28 days.
📦 Storage & Packaging
- Packaging: KERACRETE ADF100 is supplied in a 23 kg/set.
- Storage: The product has a 6-month shelf life from its manufacture date. It must be stored correctly in its original packaging, out of sunshine, and at temperatures between 20°C - 40°C.
