Epoxy Solvent Primer

📝 Description

KERASEAL PS50 is a two-component, low-viscosity epoxy-based system. Its deep penetration improves the surface before the application of KERASEAL and KERAGUARD products. It is used as a primer and sealer for resin-based coatings or as a dustproofer for concrete and other porous mineral substrates.

Applying the Product

1. Surface Preparation

Concrete must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm².
The surface must be clean. Contaminants should be removed with chemical degreasers, followed by mechanical preparation to ensure the surface is dry.

2. Application Conditions

Substrate moisture content must be < 6%.
Substrate temperature must be between +15°C and +39°C.
Maximum relative air humidity is 85%.

3. Mixing

Add Part B to Part A and mix for 2-3 minutes until homogeneous.

4. Application

Can be applied by brush, short-hair roller, or airless spray.
As a primer: Normally one coat is sufficient.
As a sealer/dustproofer: Apply a minimum of two coats.
Allow 24 hours for initial cure and 7 days for maximum properties. Ensure sufficient ventilation and a temperature above 20°C.

📦 Storage & Packaging

Packaging: Supplied in 9.0 kg per set.
Storage: 12 months from manufacture date. Must be stored in original packaging, out of sunshine, at temperatures from 20°C - 40°C.

🧼 Cleaning

Clean equipment and tools immediately after use with Solvent.

⚠️ Safety Precautions

Ensure working areas are well-ventilated; use vapor protection masks in poorly ventilated areas.
Do not expose the working area or materials to naked flames or excessive heat. No smoking.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing.
If splashed on skin, wash off immediately with soapy water (do not use solvents).
If splashed in eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
