Epoxy Solvent Primer

📝 Description

KERASEAL PS50 is a two-component, low-viscosity epoxy-based system. Its deep penetration improves the surface before the application of KERASEAL and KERAGUARD products. It is used as a primer and sealer for resin-based coatings or as a dustproofer for concrete and other porous mineral substrates.

📏 Coverage

Applying the Product

1. Surface Preparation

• Concrete must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm².
• The surface must be clean. Contaminants should be removed with chemical degreasers, followed by mechanical preparation to ensure the surface is dry.

2. Application Conditions

• Substrate moisture content must be < 6%.
• Substrate temperature must be between +15°C and +39°C.
• Maximum relative air humidity is 85%.

3. Mixing

• Add Part B to Part A and mix for 2-3 minutes until homogeneous.

4. Application

• Can be applied by brush, short-hair roller, or airless spray.
• As a primer: Normally one coat is sufficient.
• As a sealer/dustproofer: Apply a minimum of two coats.
• Allow 24 hours for initial cure and 7 days for maximum properties. Ensure sufficient ventilation and a temperature above 20°C.

📦 Storage & Packaging

• Packaging: Supplied in 9.0 kg per set.
• Storage: 12 months from manufacture date. Must be stored in original packaging, out of sunshine, at temperatures from 20°C - 40°C.

🧼 Cleaning

• Clean equipment and tools immediately after use with Solvent.

⚠️ Safety Precautions

• Ensure working areas are well-ventilated; use vapor protection masks in poorly ventilated areas.
• Do not expose the working area or materials to naked flames or excessive heat. No smoking.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing.
• If splashed on skin, wash off immediately with soapy water (do not use solvents).
• If splashed in eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
