Water-based Polyurethane Waterproofing

KERACRETE ADF200 is a single-component, water-based Polyurethane waterproofing system. It is applied as a coating to protect concrete roofs and walls from the negative effects of water and is UV resistant. It is available in grey and is suitable for use on concrete, mortars, and brick walls.

Applying the Product

1. Preparation

• Must be applied to a concrete surface or wall.
• The concrete's compressive strength should be a minimum of 25 N/mm² and tensile strength a minimum of 1.5 N/mm².
• The surface should be flat. Weak adhesion must be removed by mechanical preparation.
• Grinding and scratching with a high-roughness grinding blade machine is recommended to reinforce bond strength.
• Concrete must be thoroughly cleaned and free from greases and impurities.
• Before application, the surface should be moistened with water until it reaches 15% moisture.

2. Mixing

• Use a slow-speed mixer (no more than 600 rpm).
• Mix for 2-3 minutes before use.

3. Application

• Can be applied quickly and easily, even on uneven floors.
• Use a roller to apply or spread the mixture over the prepared surface.
• For airless spray, a 20:1 ratio single-line piston pump with a 0.015-inch tungsten nozzle tip may be used.

📦 Storage & Packaging

• Packaging: Supplied in 5kg/pail or 16kg/pail.
• Storage: Has a 6-month shelf life from its manufacture date. Must be stored correctly in original packaging, out of sunshine, and at temperatures between 20°C - 40°C.

🧼 Cleaning & Maintenance

• Cleaning: Clean equipment and tools immediately after use with water.
• Maintenance: Easily maintained by brushing with a neutral solution. Solvent cleaning agents are not recommended. For heavily contaminated areas, using soda with clean water is recommended.
